POSITION SCOPE

The Associate Human Resource Manager is primarily responsible for  ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism are present in all  activities in relation to employee relations and resourcing, equal opportunities, organizational development, rewards and employee payments, and health,  safety and welfare. The Associate Human Resources Manager will oversee the   policies   and   procedures   for   attracting,   retaining   and   rewarding E2  employees. Additionally, the Associate Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing standards of employment to maintain E2’s international standing and meet requirements while keeping in compliance with Vietnamese law in recruitment and employment including immigration laws, insurances and conditions.

CRITERIA

  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated drive, self-starter, hard-working, self‐aware, and hungry to learn
  • Responsible, diligent, attention-to-details, and result oriented
  • Graduate of a reputable university with strong academic performance
  • P/g qualifications in human resource management, preferred
  • Good understanding of business language, practices, and settings
  • Good command of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Three or more years’ experience in HR in a company employing both Vietnamese local and expat employees

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Human Resources Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the Senior Director of Student Services and Operations to:

  • Contribute towards the company strategy and business development
  • Promote the core values and corporate goals of E2 and ensure they are communicated effectively to employees
  • Line manage and develop employees within HR
  • Oversee recruiting, orienting and training employees
  • Oversee all compensation & benefits for employees, including on-time monthly payroll, performance reviews and annual salary reviews
  • Oversee all compliance, including compulsory social, health and unemployment insurances, Personal Income Taxes and work permits/visas for expats
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records and files of employees and teachers
  • Provide procedures that anticipate and resolve conflict and enable conflict mediation strictly following the Labour Code and Company Handbook
  • Amend and update handbooks and guidelines governing all departments
