VEF is an independent federal agency of the U.S. Government with the primary purpose of promoting the bilateral relationship between the United States and Vietnam through educational exchanges.
\nThe fields of studies supported by VEF are sciences (natural, physical, and environmental), technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (including biomedical sciences as well as epidemiology, nutrition, and biostatistics within public health).<\/p>\n
We are pleased to announce the timeline and application process of the 3 programs for the years of 2015 and 2016, as below:<\/p>\n
1. Fellowship Program for Cohort 2016: Approximately 34 Fellowships for Vietnamese nationals to pursue graduate studies (Master\u2019s or Master\u2019s\/Ph.D. programs) in the U.S., through cost-sharing agreements between VEF and highly-regarded U.S. universities.<\/p>\n
Applications will be available ONLY online at VEF website at www.vef.gov, from 10:00 a.m., December 10, 2014, to 10:00 a.m., April 10, 2015 (Vietnam time).<\/p>\n

2. Visiting Scholar Program for Academic Year 2016-2017: Up to 3 grants for Vietnamese nationals to under-take postdoctoral professional development programs in the U.S., from 5 to 12 months.<\/p>\n
