2.Australian Leadership Awards (ALA)<\/strong>, a regional programme, aims to develop leadership, build

\n2.1.\u00a0Australian Leadership Award \u2014 Scholarships<\/em>: An ALA Scholarship can be valued up to A$130,000
\nfor Masters degrees and A$250,000 for Doctorate programmes, with additional value included in the
\nLeadership Development Programme

2.2\u00a0Australian Leadership Award \u2013 Fellowships:<\/em>
\n– are for short-term study, research, and professional attachment programmes in Australia delivered by Australian organisations.
\n– ALA Fellowships complement the longer term. ALA Scholarships providing opportunities to
\nsenior officials who cannot leave their positions for extended periods. ALA Fellowships is a highly flexible
\nprogramme offering professional development opportunities to current and future leaders from the
\nAsia-Pacific region by leveraging existing linkages between Australia and countries in the region.
\n– ALA Fellowships are available across a broad range of fields relevant to Australia\u2019s foreign policy agenda or
\ndevelopment outcomes within the Asia-Pacific region.
\n– Applications relating to the following priority regional themes of international trade, pandemics, security and climate change (including clean energy) are encouraged.

* The H\u1ecdc M\u00e3i Foundation was awarded an Australian Leadership Award (ALA) grant from AusAID in order to support 30 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and technicians from various hospitals and universities in Vi\u00eat Nam to study in Australia.<\/p>\n
